Rated 2 out of 5 by from poor quality excellent delivery- very quick and well packaged. The bags are much flimsier than comparable ones I have bought in the past which was disappointing. They would only survive one trip and had a tendency to deflate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for clothing & for ice for the coolbag Used these many times for reducing the bulk of my clothing for overseas travel. Then when installed in my hotel I use one of them for taking ice in my coolbag, to keep foodstuffs cold. Then they are used to bring dirty washing back home

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor valves allow air in The valve is cheap and not one way, so as soon as the vacuum is disconnected it immediately allows air back into the bag, which makes them just a normal plastic bag.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed the intelligence test. I failed totally to make this product work. The packaging says seal bag, roll up and the air is expelled from the one-way valve. What one-way valve? There isn't one! It doesn't do what it says on the tin. How your customers who posted rave reviews made it work is beyond me and I do not consider myself to be dim.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Taking the air out of space "Vacuum" I did a lot of research on different vacuum bags and after some searching just went for these based on a previous users experience explaining how they work, plus the price. You get 2 well sized plastic bags which are double sealed (like what you get on a sandwich bag) with a plastic clip that slides across the zip like seals. The only issue with this clip is you may lose it easily, so once you've sealed the bag up, probably best to keep the clips together in a small pouch. The bags can still be sealed without these, but it won't be as easy. The bags are large enough to take a couple of large towels or a multitude of clothes and should compress everything down by at least 1/3rd of their original size. You will have to take into account though that once you've vacuumed the bag you will end up with a bulge where the contents will get squished due to the way you have to get the air out. The one way valve system is at the bottom of the bags and work only under pressure, so you'll need to roll the zip seal part up and then kneel on the bag slowly whilst holding the rolled up part, otherwise the pressure will just pop open the zip seals. Another great benefit is you can see what clothes in them without having to open the one luggage bag to rummage in for your clothes. Plus for tent campers it will mean your clothese will stay dry. Overall I think these are great and haved saved up space, meaning my other half was able to take twice as many clothese with us!! These are the cheapest available on the market. A lot of the others available from Dunelm Mill also work without using a vacuum cleaner, but have smaller and larger sizes available if you plan to travel with caravan or motorhome.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DOESN'T WORK I thought I would be able to use a smaller suitcase to go skiing if I used a couple of these for my salopettes etc. However, when I tried to roll the bag up, the seal burst. There's no point trying it with a hoover because I might not be able to use one when I repack for coming home. What a waste of money. I'll have another try but if that doesn't work they will be going back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from SECOND ATTEMPT WORKED I FINALLY WORKED IT OUT. YOU START ROLLING IT FROM THE ZIPPED CLOSURE, NOT TOWARDS IT. IF YOU HAVE A LOT IN THE BAG IT TAKES QUITE A LOT OF PRESSURE TO PUSH THE AIR OUT AND YOU HAVE TO DO IT SLOWLY BUT IT EVENTUALLY WORKS. IT WOULD BE HELPFUL IF THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE CLEARER AS IT ISN'T OBVIOUS WHICH END YOU ROLL IT UP FROM.
