Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very flimsy The cord mechanism broke the second time I used it. Very flimsy and not suitable for daily use

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Romantic Blinds Absolutely LOVE these grey blackout Roman Blinds for my Babies nursery, all ready for their arrival! Beautiful material. Perfect colour.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor quality fixings Tried a new blind as roller blinds not up to much ....also poor plastic fixings. This one is so flimsy that it keeps sliding out of track. The cheap plastic/wooden cane which layers it keeps getting tangled with the cord.....inferior product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great, easy to fit We purchased 3 of these blinds last month to go in a bay window, they all look great and were easy to fit. Definitely would recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor fixings Quite happy with the appearance of the blind but the fixings were poor, we’ll actually useless because it wouldn’t stay on the wall

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just okay I had to return these blinds as they were not what I was looking for. The material was very thin and not the best quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to fit Love the crisp (but uncreased) linen finish. Easy to fit and great black out quality. Perhaps just wish it came in a shorter length as such a narrow window would rarely be very long.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Blinds work well Just what was needed, we looked for neutral colour black out blinds for soemtime before finding these. Fit our decor throughput the house very well and we've used them in all of the rooms..

I have read lots of questions & answers re cutting the blinds - I understand the general thought is it could be risky to cut. I would like to know about the fabric - is it the same fabric (material stuck to the plastic blackout lining) as the roller blinds? I was looking at the various grey blackout roller blinds too (herringbone finish & linen finish) as an alternative, but if the fabric makeup is the same I'll take my chances & cut the roman blind! Please advise!!
    Asked by: Mrs B
Hi, thanks for your question. The makeup is slightly different, as the Roman blind has a higher percentage of polyester. Thanks.

I have a 61cm width window with 100cm drop, but was thinking of getting the 138cm and not opening all the way. Does this blind operate in a way that can be stopped, so that it doesn't drop all the way down?

    Asked by: Petunia
Hi, thanks for your question. The blind can be locked in place when partially extended, or pulled all the way up. I hope this helps.

The draw strings are on the wrong side for the orientation of my children's bedroom. Can the draw strings be changed to the other side at all?

    Asked by: Carlitos
Hi Carlitos, the draw strings are only able to be placed on the right side this is due to the mechanical string being positioned here. Hope this helps

can these blinds be cut down to size or do they come in fixed sizes - failing that could you recommend blinds that do ?

    Asked by: victor
Hi Victor, thanks for your question. In theory, yes Roman blinds can be trimmed to size, however, due to the nature of the blind and the way it functions and the mechanisms inside, extreme care must be taken. It is not normally advisable to alter Roman blinds because of this. Also please note, that once cut, the blind cannot be returned. Roller Blinds however can be reduced in width and length and full instructions on how to do so are included in the pack. Kind regards

Hi there, Can this blind be fixed above the window recess onto the wall or does it have to be attached on either side? Thanks, Lauren

    Asked by: Lauren
Hi Lauren, thanks for your question. The brackets for the Roman Blinds allow for top, side or face fixing, so yes you will be able to attach this above the window recess. Kind regards
