Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't buy unless you need maximum extension I bought two of these for both bedrooms. In one bedroom it is perfect as it is extended as far as possible with the join in the centre held by the bracket. In our second bedroom it is not as suitable as we have it extended just a little so every time we open the curtain the rings snag on the pole and the hooks fall out. As its in my baby's room I often try to open the curtain one handed and because of this flaw it's not possible. I have had to make a gradient with tape over the join to allow the curtain to be opened / closes easier.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not fit for purpose !!!! When these (I bought 2) were put up they looked lovely BUT with the pole extended it is impossible to draw and open the curtains without the curtain rings being snagged on the extension part, you have to manually move the rings over the extension and invariably at that point the hooks drop out! They are completely frustrating and I'm surprised that Dunelm would sell such an inferior product which is not particularly cheap and certainly not fit for purpose. shame on you Dunelm! Unfortunately the system does not allow me to register no stars which would be my preferred choice

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So bad it's not fit for purposr! Bought this and a silver extendable pole, both have the same problem in that the part where the extension comes out of the main pole causes the rings to catch and completely jam up, making it impossible to simply draw the curtains closed, they just won't move without an inordinate amount of palaver trying to free up the stuck rings, and usually causing a curtain hook to dislodge from the ring in the process. The worst designed curtain poles I have ever had the misfortune to buy, they look nice but do not do what they are supposed to do, how can this basic fault not have been picked up at quality checks, it beggars belief?!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful! Absolutely love this pole. My mum got one for her fining room and fits in so well. Decided to get one for my bedroom, and mum also wanted another for hers! (Separate houses by the way!) Lovely light gold brushed effect, fairly easy to put up using the brackets provided. Can't wait to finish redecorating so I can put mine up and hang my Dunelm Mill Birds Voices from it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rustic curtain poles I bought three poles and found them to be excellent. Very sturdy and easy to fit. I like the rustic look they give but more importantly they are good quality poles. I was so impressed I bought two more

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I could not recommend this curtain pole Found the brackets on this pole extremely fiddly and impossible to assemble. Direction diagrams did not seem to match the product. Eventually gave up and will purchase something simpler.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor delivery handling I ordered 4 curtain poles to be home delivered. When the items arrived, 2 of the 4 items were damaged due to poor handling. Would highly recommend that delivery staff were made aware of this. Respect and care of customers purchases would be much appreciated. I had to return both items which was very inconvenient.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shabby Chic! Nice poles, with the extra long length I required. Good quality and sturdy - however, the big pole was heavy and whilst opening the package, one end fell onto the floor (carpeted) and the end 'ball' cracked and a piece broke off. Fortunately we were able to glue it back together and place it facing the wall.

Do the rings slide easily over the join?. Can the join be in the middle of a 300cm width?

    Asked by: Anonymous
Thanks for your question. Please note the rings do not move over the brackets. With a 300cm pole, there will be a middle bracket to fit. I hope this helps.
