Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice blind Happy with the quality and the price. It looks good up and was easy to fit. I would buy this again. My only small issue I had was with the collection from store. The first blind I collected had been opened/used so I needed to return it. This hasn't discorange me from using the service again. The store staff member couldn't have been any more helpful and offered an instant discount on the for the trouble.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Roman blinds They are cheap so the quality reflects that. Be careful of the colour. I bought ivory linen and it has a definite pink tinge. 1 of the blinds won’t hang straight when raised. For the price they serve a purpose.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Summer blackout Bought this blind a few weeks ago because I needed to darken a bedroom now the daylight is longer, it does what it's supposed to and looks great as well. I like the opening/ closing system no excess strings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Classic Roman Blinds I did go to the bother of getting a quote for blinds- after getting a quote for just under a thousand pounds for two. I looked at my options -value for money, fabric that looked good and a mechanical bracket that didn’t break. Well I am very satisfied and at a 10th of the cost of the quote

I have read lots of questions & answers re cutting the blinds - I understand the general thought is it could be risky to cut. I would like to know about the fabric - is it the same fabric (material stuck to the plastic blackout lining) as the roller blinds? I was looking at the various grey blackout roller blinds too (herringbone finish & linen finish) as an alternative, but if the fabric makeup is the same I'll take my chances & cut the roman blind! Please advise!!
    Asked by: Mrs B
Hi, thanks for your question. The makeup is slightly different, as the Roman blind has a higher percentage of polyester. Thanks.

I have a 61cm width window with 100cm drop, but was thinking of getting the 138cm and not opening all the way. Does this blind operate in a way that can be stopped, so that it doesn't drop all the way down?

    Asked by: Petunia
Hi, thanks for your question. The blind can be locked in place when partially extended, or pulled all the way up. I hope this helps.

The draw strings are on the wrong side for the orientation of my children's bedroom. Can the draw strings be changed to the other side at all?

    Asked by: Carlitos
Hi Carlitos, the draw strings are only able to be placed on the right side this is due to the mechanical string being positioned here. Hope this helps

can these blinds be cut down to size or do they come in fixed sizes - failing that could you recommend blinds that do ?

    Asked by: victor
Hi Victor, thanks for your question. In theory, yes Roman blinds can be trimmed to size, however, due to the nature of the blind and the way it functions and the mechanisms inside, extreme care must be taken. It is not normally advisable to alter Roman blinds because of this. Also please note, that once cut, the blind cannot be returned. Roller Blinds however can be reduced in width and length and full instructions on how to do so are included in the pack. Kind regards

Hi there, Can this blind be fixed above the window recess onto the wall or does it have to be attached on either side? Thanks, Lauren

    Asked by: Lauren
Hi Lauren, thanks for your question. The brackets for the Roman Blinds allow for top, side or face fixing, so yes you will be able to attach this above the window recess. Kind regards
