Hi,my velox window measures width 38cms.can these rods be shortened,as the smallest I can get is 40cms. thanks.Tina.

Hi, thanks for your question. We would not recommend cutting this down, as it could damage the mechanism. You might find this wire more suitable:http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/net-curtain-wire-138147. Thanks.

Can these net rods be bent to fit around a curved bay window?

    Asked by: Anonymous
No, our Net Rods wouldn't fit around a bay window. If bent they would probably snap. Thanks

how would I attach these rods to a patio door which is plastic, do they have adhesive fixings and would they hold string fly blinds? Or is there anything better.

    Asked by: Anonymous
Hi Grandma, thanks for your question. You can purchase small adhesive fixings ideal for UPVC Patio doors, they have small metal supports which you align the holes on the Net Rod onto. I hope this helps.

What are the fixings that are in the pack? I have a conservatory and need to put up 5 lengths of voile across the ceiling, I need to know if they will easily attach to the wood beams. Thanks

Hello there. There at two hooks included in the packaging that screw into the wall, the rod then slides into the hooks. I hope this helps, thanks.

I would like to purchase brackets for the rod and want to know which ones are suitable and are the brackets available on the website or in store?

    Asked by: Anonymous
Hi Roy, thanks for your question. The brackets you need are self adhesive and are ideally used on plastic/ UPVC windows. They can be purchased online if you follow the link provided below. http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/self-adhesive-centre-brackets-138294 I hope this helps

Are these rods ones that do not have any screws, that hold theirselves up when in place at either on of the window recess?

    Asked by: Anonymous
Hi, thanks for your question. The net rods are held up on to the window by brackets. I believe you are thinking of a Tension Rod(available here: http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/tension-rod-50209), which is spring loaded and held up in place by its tension. I hope this is what you were looking for, thanks.

Hi there, is the fitting for this a kind of 'button' that sticks to the window frame and then a hole on the end of the curtain rod engages with the button to hold up the rod? Thanks -Heather

    Asked by: Anonymous
Hi, thanks for your question. This product is fitted using an L-shaped fitting that screws into the window frame and threaded through holes at each end of the rod, allowing it to "sit" comfortable on the fittings. I hope that helped. Kind Regards.
