Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very light This iron is better than my old one light weight easy to use

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This iron drags on all fabrics. I have always bought Phillips irons in the past and have always been very happy with their performance however this iron is impossible to iron with. The plate sticks to all fabrics irrespective of the temperature. Very disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I really wish I had read reviews for this iron before I had purchased it. As a lot of people have already mentioned the iron seems to drag along any type of fabric. I have always used Philips irons of a similar price but unfortunately I shall be having to purchase a new different make of iron very shortly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works fine Great for the price, some reviewers think all Products are equal. Its a cheap iron that works fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicely produced product and good upgrade from previous model Following good years of service with previous version, had offer of reasonably priced upgrade. Plus points: Product ironed different fabrics well. Adjustment of heating temperatures easy. Length of cabling sufficient for even handling large items to iron. Convenient to store Minor issue: Opening of water filler cap somewhat awkward, but not a big deal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Big Disappointment I have had this iron for a few moths now and experience the same problem as expressed in other reviews, with the iron not gliding easily over the fabric being ironed, it feels as though it's sticking no matter what temperature it is set at, this makes ironing extremely hard work. Was amused to see a suggested solution from the Phillips Team of putting a piece of fabric between the iron and the garment being ironed - has the person who suggested this ever done a weeks family ironing?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Iron ever I have had this iron for 2 months now and have had enough. I am going to have to buy another as it makes such hard work of the ironing. It really drags across the fabric and like other reviewers I have tried all settings, steam/no steam. The suggestion of putting a cloth between the garment and sole plate is just plain rediculous and impractical especially when ironing complicated items. Very angry and disappointed.
