Not the best
Bought this about 18 months ago. Last night the catch broke and I can't find replacement catches anywhere on the web. Having read the reviews it seems this is a common problem. I found the perfect solution though. Separate the metal and plastic parts of the lid by removing six screws, remove the hinge pin which allows you to remove the spring, re-assemble the lid and screw a nice handle to it so it becomes a simple lift lid.

Another one that fails to close after a few weeks
Usually impressed with the quality from Dunelm, but not this time.
Not only has the catch that keeps the lid down broken after only a few weeks, but the design is flawed. The bin bag creates its own vacuum and becomes almost impossible to remove once full.
The bin has gone in the bin and I will not be replacing it at dunelm.

Disappointed
I had ordered a bin for my new house with plenty of time before I move in. It arrived in time but was dented in a number of places, I then organised to send back and a replacement bin to be sent and am still waiting for it to arrive, I have since had no communication of when it is coming and move into my house tomorrow without a bin.

Brought this bin and took it to Spain for my place still boxed when opened it was full of scratches all over the bin itself is not good for filling black bags as so narrow that when u pull black bag out it splits the bag. Rubbish item literally

Good bin generally, but the catch is a weak point
I have had this bin for a while, maybe two years, but now the lid catch has broken. I suppose I did better than some as I got a certain amount of use out of it. Looking at the broken catch you can see that it is a poor design, not very sturdy at all. I glued it, and that lasted a little while but now it's broken again so I need a new bin. Might not buy it from Dunelm. :-(

Lovely thing if it hadn't been damage
I like the colour but wish it wasn't damage when it come the boxes were ok so it must have been damaged when it was put n box

Bin arrived dented
Online service is useless when I finally managed to get the bin on home delivery it came later then expected and dented! Very nice bin other than that
