How to crochet make-up removal pads

Terms we’ll be using:

Magic Ring

Ch – Chain stitch

Dc – Double Crochet

Sl St – slip stitch

  • Magic ring to start, Ch3 then Dc11 into the magic ring. Sl St to the top of the Ch3 to complete the round (12 stitches total)
  • Ch3, dc into same stitch. 2 dc into each stitch around. Sl St to top of Ch3 to complete the round. (24 stitches total)
  • Ch3, dc into same stitch, *dc into next stitch, 2dc into next stich* around. Sl St to top of Ch3 to complete the round. (36 stitches total)
  • Cut the yarn about 10cm from your project then pull through the last loop on your hook. Sew in your ends and you’re ready to go! These can be used to remove make up in a more eco-friendly way as rather than throwing them out you can simply wash them with warm soapy water.
