Salon’s striking geometric design is taken from a detail in a beautiful album of designs by French artist, Adrien Jacques Garcelon. French pattern books of this period featured floral and geometric forms created using a stencil-based technique called pochoir and their purpose was to inspire textile and wallpaper designers. Salon takes Garcelon’s chevron pattern and updates it in a lustrous palette of pewter and rose. Handcrafted in pure wool, its cut and loop panels accentuate the bold Art Deco pattern which looks as fresh and modern as ever.
