Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very sturdy piece of furniture Very pleased with this wardrobe. Bought it with the York chest of drawers and they look good in the room I bought them for. Drawers are nice and deep.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from York gents wardrobe The wardrobe moves from side to side. The reason is top of wardrobe at back there should be 2 metal studs to fit into side panel holes and locked using locking nut as per the top front wardobe , and which are also used in rest of wardrobe as well. Instead there are 2 white nylon inserts approx protruding 1/2 inch which just drop in hole meant for metal studs and can't be anchored to anything!!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wobbly Wardrobe We took delivery of the wardrobe and assembled it per the instructions. It soon became clear that this product is poorly designed because there is little stability within its design structure. Once assembled it is possible to move the top of the wardrobe from side to side. Fittings are provided to attach the wardrobe to the wall (who would want to do that?), so maybe those were included because the design fault had been previously identified! We visited a local Dunelm showroom where an assembled wardrobe was on display. It had the same characteristics as the one that we had assembled. We called across one of the staff (Duncan) who saw for himself the unacceptable amount of sideways movement. I had to purchase some timber from a local merchant so that I could reinforce the rear of the wardrobe to reduce the amount of sideways movement. It still isn't perfect. Ideally I should have sent it back as it is not fit for purpose. I am in the process of investigating a complaints procedure with some form of recompense.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Definitely would not recommend. Bought this from York range as have other pieces which I have been very happy with. Unfortunately the wardrobe is flimsy, unlike other pieces in range. Doors do not line up properly, the whole wardrobe moves when you touch it. Not sure how long the wardrobe will last under the weight of the clothes. Not even sure it is even safe. Very disappointed. Would appreciate some feedback from Dunelm as to whether it can be returned now it has been built.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointing l ocking pins and nuts far too flimsy for weight of unit had to screw in steel bracks to stop unit falling to bits when turning unit over ,back panels too long had to reduce lengh by 1/4 in . also had to plug several locking pin holes and redrill/ altogether a nightmare opperation.
