Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Buy Not stable wobbled when ironing - paint comes off when iron is put on iron rest. Had to buy extra padding and now with all the problems will be returning to store

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ironing board is larger than I expected I chose this ironing board because based on the measurements it would fit in the small cupboard space I have. Unfortunately the length is misleading. When folded the legs stick out on either end, so I have got a short ironing board with long legs that doesn't fit into the cupboard. Other than that it is perfectly good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from i would recommend this item I keep it beside my fridge its compact and still does the job without being bulky or too heavy its light enough to carry from room to room.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Appalling! Difficult to imagine anything this poor unless it was designed that way on purpose. First, the piece of modern art sculture where every other board I've owned has had the iron rest. The only way I can get the iron to sit reasonably securely on it is by turning it 90 degrees. Un-natural & uncomfortable for the wrist every time you pick it up or put it down & leaves the hot surface towards you. After the iron crashed to the floor for the second time, I gave up & used the end of the board. This of course significantly decreases the useable space. Then there's the perfectly crafted gap between the board & the stand. It must have taken ages to ensure that this was EXACTLY the right size to regularly trap the cable. The "board" itself is a mesh, supposedly to allow steam through. The manufacturer has thoughtfully included the thinnest cover known to man. So all those boring, plain, dark clothes you own can now be transformed with the addition of a lovely random diamond pattern as you iron. The nearest positive comment I can make is that it's very light. But of course that in turn makes it rather wobbly. Simply not fit for purpose.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for? After looking at the boards available in the shop I rapidly came to the conclusion that I needed a lightweight board that wasn't taller than myself. This reduced my options significantly but this Addis board seemed to fit the bill. I realised in the shop that the cover provided with this board is very thin. Indeed, the small print on the packaging states "For extra cushioning we advise placing an ADDIS replacement cover on top of your board." I opted for buying some ironing board felt at the same time as the board. I noticed that some of the boards in the shop had covers that weren't laying flat but it wasn't until I came to remove the cover to put the felt underlay on the board that I discovered why. All that keeps the cover on is a plastic toggle that you wrap the cords around. I found it impossible to get the cords tight using this toggle and believe I will now have to buy the elastic straps you can get to keep the cover taught on the board. This is a small, lightweight ironing board that feels sturdy enough and has a good system for locking the legs in the closed position. The cover provided is cheap and nasty and the method for fixing it in place is pretty useless. Quite possibly a fair price for what you get though.
