Roller Blind Mechanism with a Metal Chain is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from I might recommend this product Is stronger than original one that came with blind,as main part is metal. But holes for fixing to wall are wider apart. So had to drill new hole very close to old one. Also fixing screws flimsy and had to drill out holes to get them to accept a bigger screw.Could do with this type of bracket in original roller blind pack,as old ones are only made of plastic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from might recommend this product The product is stronger than original bracket. As is metal with a plastic cover. Pity screw holes not same distance apart,as had to drill new hole with care in wall,as very close to original hole. Why not include this bracket with original roller blinds.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't fit! Bought this to replace a broken part in a Dunelm blind. Doesn't fit (screw holes don't line up with previous bracket and doesn't fit the 'roller' part either!) Will now need to return. Should have read the reviews.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than the plastic one Bought this as the plastic one broke after installation this is far better

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just a roller mechanism! Almost identical with the original roller blind mechanism which didn't last for long - hope these last longer. I'm not heavy handed so was disappointed that they failed so early. I can see that I will have to be ultra cautious with the new fittings to ensure that they don't fail the same way. You get what you pay for - exercise a lot of gentle care and you may be alright.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Change to Blind Fitting Wanted to change from previose fittings that were awkward to use and looked bulky on the side of the window. New fiting easy to fit and look much better than the old ones.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor product! I have now bought 3 kits and they keep on breaking and snapping! they are not strong enough. I can understand it on my 6ft blind but not on my 1.5 ft blind!!!! poor poor product. We have now made our own out of metal

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I would NOT reccomend this product Control wheel body construction uses thin-section, hard, brittle, plastic. Mine shattered during assembly meaning it was useless and was binned. Shame as metal wall brackets were good. I will not risk buying a complete blind from Dunelm now.

Do you sell the brackets for the blackout blinds on their own? I have 4x cream blinds with the mechanism but no way to fix them to the wall and just need the 2x brackets per blind, 8 brackets in total?

    Asked by: Anonymous
Thanks for your question. We only sell the brackets with the chains.
