How to Measure for Perfect Fit® Shutters

Select where your window handle is located, or choose ‘No handle’ if there isn’t one. Just so you know, the tilt rod will sit on the opposite side of any handle.
Tilt control side
The tilt control sits at the end of the slats (next to the frame) letting you open and close them smoothly for easy control of light and privacy. The tilt rod will be on the opposite side of the handle, if there is one.
Your window's frame depth (also known as 'bead depth') will determine the correct bracket size for your Perfect Fit® Shutter. This is the distance from the face of the window frame to the glass. The brackets slide between the glass and the seal, and the frame clips securely into place. No drilling required.
Tip: Place a credit card across the window corner and measure from the glass to the card for an easy depth check.

Our Perfect Fit® Shutters are suitable for uPVC windows and doors thanks to the easy, clip-in bracket system that slides behind the rubber beading. Please note Perfect Fit® Shutters are not suitable for aluminium or wood window frames.
If your Perfect Fit® Shutters are over 150cm in height, a mid rail will be added for extra support and 2 extra side support brackets will be automatically included in your order. Additional brackets can be purchased separately here : Perfect Fit® Shutter Bracket
Some light bleed is completely normal for Perfect Fit® Shutters, as they include small operating clearances between panels to ensure smooth operation and to allow for natural tolerances. Light bleed may vary panel to panel depending on window alignment, manufacturing tolerances, panel positioning, and lighting conditions. Naturally, light bleed is more noticeable in strong daylight and less apparent in most everyday conditions.
