Click & Collect

Click & Collect is still available at stores across England, Scotland and Wales, however this service is temporarily paused in Northern Ireland and at our Jersey store. We're happy to announce this service will resume in Northern Ireland (contact-free only) from Monday 12th April.

In line with Government advice, stores like ours can offer safe Click & Collect services, however we know it is important to only leave our homes for essential purposes, which is why we would encourage you to choose Home Delivery if it's possible and practical.

Our contact-free Click & Collect service is available if there's something you need quickly - like a new kettle because yours has just broken, or a thicker duvet because it's forecast to be freezing cold - and we can have items ready in as little as 3 hours when important trips are needed.

However, we want to follow the lockdown guidance. We will hold your orders for 7 days, which we hope will help you manage your trips better, and make it possible to incorporate your collection into an essential journey. Please wait until you have received a ready to collect notification before heading to store.

When you do come to collect your order, please help everyone stay safe by wearing a face mask, unless you are medically exempt.

To help you avoid making non-essential journeys we have also extended our returns policy to give you 28 days after your local store reopens to return anything purchased in-store since 1st November 2020.

Latest Coronavirus Information

All of our stores are currently closed, however contact-free Click & Collect and home delivery is still available. We're happy to announce that stores in England will be reopening from Monday 12th April.

For the safety of you and our colleagues, we ask that you please wear a face mask or a visor when picking up your Click & Collect order from your local store.

We will hold your orders for 7 days, which we hope will help you manage your trips better, and make it possible to incorporate your collection into an essential journey.


Our stores have safely reopened as of Monday 5th April, so you can once again browse and pick up your Click & Collect order in-store.

For the safety of you and our colleagues, we still have all safety precautions in place, so please wear a face mask or a visor when shopping with us (unless you are exempt).

Don't forget that we will hold any Click & Collect orders for 7 days, so you are able incorporate your collection into an essential journey if you wish.

All of our stores are currently closed. Our home delivery service has now resumed, and we're happy to announce that, in line with Government advice, our stores in Northern Ireland will resume contact-free Click & Collect from Monday 12th April.


Home delivery orders for all regions across the UK are unaffected by the latest announcements so if you are looking to place an order or have already done so, you can rest assured that we're working hard to bring your delivery to you, contact-free, as quickly as possible.


Our amazing Facebook community groups is the place to be for the latest information on your local store. As well as the latest news, our colleagues can help with any questions you may have.


Gift cards are currently only available to buy in store, therefore cannot be purchased via Click & Collect or home delivery.

We're sorry for any inconvenience, but it isn't possible to buy a gift card at the majority of our stores at the moment, however, they are available to purchase at any of our Scottish stores which have now reopened.

Please note, our gift cards can only be used for in-store purchases made at the tills once your local stores has reopened in line with Government advice, and only for items that can be taken home that day. This means they cannot be used for in-store purchases made on tablets with the help of our colleagues, as this is an online transaction.


Online purchases - If you purchased online and your local store is closed, you can make a return to our Click & Collect external collection point, or via Hermes drop off or collection.

In-store purchases - The majority of our stores are temporarily closed, however we have extended the returns policy to 28 days after your store has re-opened for any purchases made after 1st November 2020. Stores in Scotland have safely reopened as of Monday 5th April, so you have 28 days from this date to return an in-store purchase.

Click & Collect purchases - If you purchased via Click & Collect and your local store is closed, you can still make a return to your store externally at the Click & Collection point (except Northern Ireland stores).


Click & Collect FAQs

There are 2 collection options. You can pick up your order from in-store or from an external collection point.

Please note, in-store collections are currently only available in Scotland where all stores have reopened. Stores in England and Wales will reopen from Monday 12th April.

You should receive your ready to collect email within 3 hours of placing your order. We are currently experiencing a high volume of click & collect orders, so please wait for your collection email before heading to store.


Yes, absolutely. If someone else is collecting your order, forward the ready to collect email or text to them and they’ll be able to use the barcode to collect the order. To keep your order safe, we won’t let anyone collect your order unless they have your ready to collect confirmation.


Please check your junk folder as sometimes emails can end up in there by mistake. If you still can’t see it, please ensure you bring some photo ID that matches the payment name on the order, and you’ll be able to collect your items with either of our contact-free collection services.


Not right now, but we’re working on making this a possibility in the future. If you realise you've forgotten something, you can always place another free Click & Collect order.


If you can’t collect your order straight away, don’t worry. You have up to 7 days to pick up Click & Collect items. If you don’t collect your order within 7 days we will issue a refund. 


If you find an item that doesn’t qualify for Click & Collect, it’s probably because it’s a bit big, heavy or funny shaped, or maybe it’s stored at one of our fantastic suppliers’ facilities. We’re looking into ways to bring our full range to you through Click & Collect, but for now you can rely on our Home Delivery teams to bring them right to your door.


You can return or exchange unwanted items up to 28 days after purchase*. We just ask that you provide your Click & Collect order confirmation as proof of purchase, and that the items are unused and in their original packaging.

If you've changed your mind and no longer wish to go ahead with the order, please allow your order to expire and your refund will be processed automatically after 7 days.
