Sit Down, Glam Up
If furniture could talk, what would you yours say? If your current sofa is a bit of a snooze, and you’d rather have something smarter, smoother and more sophisticated, our luxurious new seating options could be talking to you.
First up, Beatrice, Matilda and Anya. Three elegant collections that would look stunning solo, but as you can see from the image above, their distinct looks can be combined to create something special. Matching looks great, but mixing and matching can really dial up the interest and create a glamorous scene. Combining complementary chairs and sofas can result in a look that feels luxurious and current, with a respectful nod to a bygone era of style.
If the dining room is where you like to show off your style to guests, you’re going to need a statement dining table and chairs. A glass table is a gorgeously glossy addition to any dining space, and have the advantage of being easy to clean (which as you know, is every host’s dream), and show off every angle of your table arrangement. Team with velvet chairs to add softness to your dining experience, and once dinner is over you can seamlessly transition to nightcaps on our Bellamy sofa and beautiful Madison coffee table.
And to the age-old question – is it possible to enjoy glamour and comfort? Luckily, the two aren’t mutually exclusive when it comes to our new collections. Form and function are married perfectly together with our Fray and Monte sofas, the first being a mid-century style sofa that’s both soft and relaxing while also being stylish enough to be an extra on Mad Men, and the second featuring a long chaise and recliner option that’s perfect for relaxing after a long day of being exhaustingly glamorous (or working and child-wrangling).
Have you met Vivian?
We were inspired to create our beautiful Vivian chair after a trip to London's exquisitely arty Sketch restaurant, whose perfectly pink Parlour is decorated with plenty of vintage-glam va-va-voom.
Elegant and sculptural, the Vivian chair will take you back in time to the glory days of the movies and the lavish Art Deco architecture of cinemas back then. We love the way it both points to an exact period while also being a timeless example of opulence and elegance, with the name 'Vivian' reminding us of Hollywood starlets of the era.
