These shorter curtains end at the windowsill and work well for windows with radiators underneath.

What are the different types of curtain length?
There are four main lengths when it comes to curtains:
1. Windowsill Curtains
Best for: Rooms with furniture below windows
Measurement tip: 1cm above the windowsill
Why choose this: Creates a neat, tailored look but offers less privacy
2. Apron Curtains
These curtains extend below the windowsill creating a relaxed feel while maximising insulation.
Best for: Kitchens, bedrooms and living rooms
Measurement tip: 15cm below the windowsill edge
Why choose this: Great compromise between style and practicality.
3. Floor-Length Curtains
The most popular choice, these curtains create an elegant look and make rooms appear taller.
Best for: Bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms
Measurement tip: 1cm above the floor to avoid drag
Why choose this: This length works in most rooms and is a safe choice if unsure
4. Puddle Curtains
These luxurious curtains create a pool on the floor for a dramatic, high-end hotel style look.
Best for: Master bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms
Measurement tip: 1-3 inches below floor length
Why choose this: Maximum elegance in a formal, low-use room
