Creating An Account
With a Dunelm account, you can access all of your information in one place.
This includes being able to view past and current orders, easily update your details, saving your information for a faster checkout experience and much more!
You'll also be the first to know about any new features as soon as they launch.
In the account drop-down, located top right of the Dunelm website, Select 'create an account', and we'll ask you to enter your email address and create a password.
For security reasons, you'll need to complete your profile and validate your email address before you can use your account.
If you signed up for an account with Dunelm before March 2021 then that account will no longer be valid.
Unfortunately, you'll need to create a new account (with lots of great new benefits) and any orders placed before your new account is created will not be visible.
If you accidentally enter an incorrect email address, you won't be able to verify your account.
Unfortunately, without verification, you won't be able to update any details including your email address, and you'll need to create another account using the correct email address.
If you used an incorrect email address during checkout and then went on to create an account, you will need to create another account and your order won't be linked to the new, correct email address.
Managing My Account
At the moment it isn't possible to update your password within My Account. You can change it by following these steps:
1. Sign out of your account - How do I sign out?
2. Go to the Sign In Tab.
3. Select Forgotten Password.
You'll then need to enter the email address for your account, and we'll send you a link to reset your password.
You can easily update your email address within My Account.
1. Log in to your account.
2. Go to Sign In Details.
3. Update your email address.
Once your new information is saved, any future emails will be sent to that email address, and you'll need to use the new address when you sign in to your account.
You can update any of your details within My Account.
1. You will need to be signed in.
2. Go to Personal Details.
3. Edit the information and save.
Once saved, your new details will be updated immediately.
To edit, delete or add an address.
1. You will need to be signed in.
2. Go to Address Book.
Then...
To edit an address:
1. Select the 'pen' icon in the right-hand corner of the address card.
This will open up the address and you can edit relevant fields.
To delete an address:
1. Select the 'bin' icon in the right-hand corner of the address card, then confirm that you want to delete that address.
Please Note:
- You won't be able to delete your address if it is set as your primary address or if it is the only address saved to your account.
- There's no undo option, so you'll need to enter the address again if you deleted it by mistake.
To add an address:
1. Select 'add address', then you can either look up the address by entering the postcode or use the Enter Address Manually, to fill out the details yourself.
2. To edit the name associated with your new address, use the 'pen' icon.
3. Remember to 'Save New Address'.
To change your primary address.
1. You will need to be signed in.
2. Go to Address Book.
If you only have one address in your address book then this will automatically be set as your primary address.
If you have multiple addresses and want to change which one is set as your primary, use the tick box, labelled 'Primary Address'.
You won't be able to delete an address that has been set as primary.
To close your Dunelm Account, you need to Contact Us.
Once your account is closed, we will not be able to bring it back and you won't be able to use the same email address on another account.
Order updates will only be visible via Track Order.
You cannot update your marketing preferences within My Account.
To opt-out, open any Dunelm email then scroll to the bottom and select Unsubscribe.
You'll be given the option to change what kind of emails you get from us, and how often you receive them.
If you want to opt-out of everything, deselect the tick boxes and click the 'Update' button.
Your security is very important to us, and we're committed to ensuring we keep our customers' details safe, which is why we don't hold on to any payment details within My Account.
Any payment details you enter while placing an order will be kept separate from the My Account area, and we won't ask for these details outside of checkout.
Account Security
Your security is very important to us, so to keep your account safe we recommend thinking about your password carefully.
Choosing a safe password:
- Always keep your password secret.
- Never reuse the same password for multiple websites.
- The password you use should be unique.
- Choose passwords that others will find hard to guess.
- Try using a phrase rather than a word.
- Include special characters such as £&%
- Update your password regularly.
If you're using a public or shared computer, it's best to sign out of your account completely when you have finished shopping.
Yes, your data is safe with Dunelm. We promise that any data we collect will be used, processed and stored properly and securely.

To reset your password, you will need to follow these steps:
1. Make sure you are signed out of your account.
2. Go to the Sign In tab.
3. Select Forgotten Password.
You will then need to enter the email address associated with your account, and we will send you a link to enter a new password.
There are two ways to sign out of your Dunelm account:
- The Sign Out text on the top right of your dashboard.
- The Sign Out option in the My Account menu.
