Our Festive Range Of Christmas Trees
Make this festive season extra special with a beautiful Christmas tree that really looks the part. Here at Dunelm, we don’t sell real Christmas trees, but we an extensive range of
pre-lit,
slim,
collapsible and twig trees. On our ‘natural’ trees, the needles emerge from convincing branches, which come from a fantastic trunk that totally looks the part. On our artificial trees, we’ve used artistic interpretation to create a range of contemporary and fun designs including our white Christmas trees. Need something more compact? We have everything from 3ft to
7ft Christmas trees to fit your space.
How to decorate a Christmas Tree?
Start by fluffing the branches to give your tree a full, natural look. Begin with lights, weaving them evenly from top to bottom and deep into the branches for a warm glow. Add large statement decorations and baubles first, then smaller ones, tucking some inside for depth. Layer in baubles, ribbons, or sprays. Finish with a tree topper and a tree skirt at the base.
How to put lights on a Christmas Tree?
Fluff the branches first, then secure the end of the first light string at the top. Weave the lights in a zig-zag pattern vertically down the tree, tucking them in and out of the branches for even coverage. Step back often to check the balance and test each new string before adding it.
When to take a Christmas Tree down?
Tradition says to take your tree down by Twelfth Night, January 5th or 6th, to mark the end of the festive season. Some prefer New Year’s Day for a fresh start, while others enjoy keeping it up a bit longer.
