Did you know there’s a size between kids’ bed and a single bed? A small single bed is about a metre in width (compared to about 130 cm for a standard single), and 2ft 6in in length. These short length beds are ideal for children, who have grown out of their cots and kids’ beds, and want to graduate to a small single. They also make great guest beds, taking up minimal room when they’re not in use, while still offering a place to lay someone’s head.

As small single beds are quite an uncommon size, our stock covers just the basics. That means we sell simple wooden and metal-framed beds, plus bunk beds with the small single footprint. They’re made in exactly the same workshops as all our other beds, so you can expect the same Dunelm quality you’ll find in all our beds. And please don’t forget that the beds on this page are the frames only – you’ll need to get the mattress separately.
