Filled Cushions

When it comes to enjoying your leisure time in the home, being comfortable can make all the difference between a relaxing time on the settee and a potential sore back. Here at Dunelm we offer a range of filled cushions to provide extra support as well as a boost in style for your home.

Our pink and yellow cushions are great for expressing the most vibrant sides of your personality. Bright or soft floral designs can bring as much or as little colour into your décor too. For adding interest to your seating area or bedrooms, our filled vintage and tartan cushions are timeless and elegant, whilst our stunning range of stag, owl and charming fox designs will bring a smile to the face of anyone who sees them. Why not add bolster cushions to add a quirkiness to your sofa, bedroom or armchairs as the different shape can be a focal design feature. Create a soothing environment with a heart cushion and bring cosiness and charm to any room. Whatever your tastes, we strive to provide you with gorgeous filled sofa and scatter cushions that you will fall in love with.

How do I mix and match cushions?

Ideally you want to pair cushions based on colours that are already present in the room to complement or enhance the look of a room and establish the tone that you’re going for. For example if your carpet or rug is cream then a cream coloured cushion might work well to enhance those tones in the room. Likewise you may want to consider the colour or style of other pieces that are present whether its coffee tables, chairs, wallpaper to help your decision making when choosing cushions. Perhaps consider cushions that contrast with your décor as they could add a pop of colour that stands out.

How do I decorate with cushions?

As discussed above now that you have your matching cushions how you display can make all the difference. The rule of thumb you want to follow is a cushion for each seat so an armchair should have one whereas a three seater sofa should have three. However in the case of sofas you can bend the rules a bit by opting for more but smaller cushions to style the sofas or one big cushion per seat, the choice is up to you.
