This evergreen conifer has tiered branches, fan-like foliage and a distinctively festive look to it, making it a popular Christmas tree choice. You'd be forgiven for mistaking it for a pine, but it's actually part of the Araucariaceae family. Whilst this is a popular Christmas tree, it doesn't love winter temperatures. This tropical plant is native to Norfolk Island, a small island in the Pacific between Australia and New Zealand, so it loves moderate temperatures and moist air. Paired with a perfectly fitting ceramic pot.
