    Clothes Airers

    Indoor airers

Airing indoors is a good way of thoroughly drying your clothes and towels after a wash. You can take advantage of the ambient heat to help reach complete dryness, or place them next to a radiator for a quicker job. We stock all sorts of airers and maidens designed to be used indoors. They all come with multiple rails so you can get a whole wash on them, and fold down flat so you can store them away between washes.

You might also be interested in our radiator airers. They hook over the top of the radiator and protrude outwards with a number of rails on them, so you can hang things in the direct heat of the radiator while still allowing air to pass through them. Hanging clothes and towels directly on the radiator doesn’t give you that air flow, so these hangers are a great idea.

    Rotary and traditional washing lines

A rotary washing line is a really popular choice for drying clothes outdoors. They’re useful for people with small gardens or backyards, but plenty of people with large gardens choose one because they take up hardly any space, are easy to install, leave the rest of the garden free and you can hang your clothes without moving around – ideal if you’ve got a heavy basket of washed clothes. The length you see on the product is the total length of the line wrapped around the frame – with up to 60 metres, that’s longer than most gardens anyway.

If you prefer a traditional clothes line, we stock some handy ones. They are retractable with hooks on the end of the lines, so when you’ve finished using them, simply unhook and the spring-loaded line will return to the casing, so you don’t have to have it up all the time. We sell double lines, too, so you can double the length of your garden in terms of line length.

    Heated airers

Our plug-in heated airers are great for people who don’t have easy access to radiators or other heat sources to dry their clothes indoors. Simply switch on and the rack will gently warm your clothes, giving you dry clothes much more quickly than a standard maiden.
